All Heat exchangers do run into problems with limescale deposits, rust, corrosion and bio film. To protect the equipment people have conventionaly used chemicals which don't spread uniformly. break down, pollute drinking water and also are corrosve to the equipment by nature.

The best solution is Merus ring that can be installed on a feed pipe and oscillations that are emitted by the ring will not only remove all the deposits but also keep the equipment free od future build up.
