LoWatt Heat Recovery Ventilation System

The best selling Vent-Axia HR204 heat recovery ventilation system is now available with a LoWatt ECDC motor, offering even greater energy savings for homeowners and SAP benefits to developers.

The new Appendix Q listed LoWatt HR204 provides continuous air extraction typically from a bathroom and kitchen, whilst also supplying filtered fresh air to living rooms and bedrooms. This unit is fitted with EDDC motor, which have an extended lifespan and consume up to 80% less energy than AC motors.

Balanced ventilation is ideal for busy town and city environments because trickle vents are not suitable due to high levels of noise ingress and pollution.

The LoWatt HR204 has been through the rigorous BRE Appendix Q test procedure, giving specifiers the opportunity to improve Dwelling Emission Rates (DER) by incorporating a high performance ‘listed’ product in their design.

The compact dimensions allow the unit to be fitted into a kitchen cupboard or small airing cupboard. This unit is ideal for apartments and small dwellings. The LoWatt HR204 requires a flat vertical area of only 720mm high x 600mm wide for installation.

An integral multi-step transformer powers the unit providing switching between the selected trickle and boost speed. This product has the same air movement performance as the already established HR204 but with the added benefit of five trickle rates and three boost rate options. The unit outer case is constructed of white powder coated sheet metal which is galvanised to give a long durable life.

Energy efficient ventilation, the stand also featured LoWatt DC technology, helping to reduce energy wastage in buildings and providing energy efficient building services. Vent-Axia has been leading the way with energy efficient DC technology for nearly a decade, from the LoWatt T-Series – a commercial fan with as much as twice the motor life and using up to 80% less power than conventional AC equivalents, the DC technology has now extended to commercial and industrial ranges including the award winning MX Roof Fan, the DC Turbo.

Every stress should be given to give maximum comfort by controlling the flow of fresh air, its temperature, humidity and cleanliness while making innovative tracks in the field of energy saving solutions.
